If you’re talking about Britain you’re really talking about four different countries - England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales - so there can’t be a singular British accent.
And different sections of England have very different accents.

I agree completely with you, Civil Partnerships are good, but not good enough. I can’t believe we are still fighting for this shit.

In this Country we have come quite far in terms of LGBT rights and we are almost completely equal with Straight people, but we are still only almost equal. It seems to me that alot of LGBT people in this Country are fine with settling with Civil Partnerships and just can’t be bothered to Campaign so that they can have the exact same Marriage as Straight people.
